Les started his career as an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer at Kimberley Clark. He went on to become a manufacturing technician whilst also undertaking pre-university qualifications in Mechanical Engineering. After 10 years at Kimberley Clark Les left employment to undertake a BEng in Mechanical Engineering before joining FT Leisure. Les has also achieved Associate status of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, IMechE, and is pursuing further professional development via work based learning and hopes to complete work based projects to add value to the business whilst doing this.

At F T Leisure, Les fulfils the role of Contracts Engineer. The role is a supporting role to the Project Managers, assisting with procurement of all materials, site operations and handover of major projects. In addition, with CAD experience and a sound engineering education, Les is also designing various new build projects.
