F T Leisure Appointed for Holt Park

F T Leisure Limited has been awarded the contract to provide three pools for a new centre in Holt Park, Leeds. The centre will provide support for people of any age or ability to live active lifestyles and will provide a community hub for residents, leisure centre customers and those that access adult social care provision. The project is the result of a successful bid made by Leeds City Council for £30.6m of Government Private Finance Initiative credits (PFI) from the Department of Health.

When it opens in autumn 2013, the centre will offer a wide range of inclusive facilities where people can engage in activities, socialise and learn new skills; facilities will include a 25m pool, a learner pool, a hydrotherapy pool, a gym, a sports hall and a cafe. F T Leisure will design, supply, install and commission the water treatment and filtration systems for the three swimming pools.
