Back to newsF T Leisure goes 3D !
Over the next 3 months, the design team at F T Leisure will be trained in the use of Solidworks 3D software. This state of the art design and simulation software was purchased in May 2010, taking our design services to a new level.
Primarily, the software will be used for our Aquaterr Moveable Floor and Boom product range. The modelling, assembly and simulation functions are perfect for these systems, enabling us to create every component, put it all together into a complete assembly and then simulate how the assembly will interact through animated simulation. Combined with the design advantages, the ability to produce 3D images of a moveable floor system will greatly assist with our client's selection of the most appropriate floor configuration for their facility.
In addition to the design of our existing product range, F T Leisure are currently working on a number of new and exciting product development projects, which will be introduced to the marketplace in 2010. Again, this software is the perfect tool.
