Meadowside Leisure Centre to be refurbished

The Meadowside Leisure Centre in Burton-on-Trent is to be fully refurbished. The works include remedial works to the building throughout, including all heating and ventilation systems, electrical installations and the replacement of the swimming pool water treatment and filtration systems. Work starts on site in December 2009. 

F T Leisure have been appointed by W T Parker (mechanical contractor) for the refurbishment of the pool plant. Our scope of works includes the separation of the 2 pool system (currently, the system is on a combined filtration plant), the replacement of all the filtration and water treatment components and the refurbishment of the filter vessels. UV systems will be incorporated to introduce new technology to this existing facility.

The project runs over a 25 week period, due for completion in June 2010.
