The Wimbledon moveable floor project, designed and installed by F T Leisure, was the focus of the "Moving Floors" feature in the December Issue of Swimming Pool News Magazine. This special project has received a lot of publicity for both F T Leisure and for the building/pool contractors, the London Swimming Pool Company.
The moveable floor is located within a 12m x 5m domestic pool on Marryat Road, Wimbledon. The client wanted to use the pool hall for multiple activities, including swimming and also dry activities, such as orchestra practice sessions! Our moveable floor system therefore locks off at static water level to provide a safe dry platform.
This pool was used in a major publicity campaign by Fresh20 - Mark Foster, the Olympic gold medallist was photgraphed in the pool.
