Contract Summary
The existing horizontal filter was replaced with 2No Lacron filters, including all pipework, valves and bracketry. A fully automated backwashing system was incorporated, using pneumatic valves; this system is designed to reduce daily maintenance. For energy conservation, invertor drives were added to the circulating pumps. Other components that were replaced include the Heat Exchanger, the Flowmeter and the water meter for the pool make-up system.

After water analysis and testing, we established that the CO2 was not adequate for the volume of water at this 50m pool facility. F T Leisure therefore specified, designed and installed a Hydrochloric Acid dosing system with 2No day tanks, dosing pumps and dilution systems.
