Eton College Appointment

Eton College was founded by King Henry VI in 1440 and lies just across the river Thames from the pretty Berkshire town of Windsor; most famous for its royal castle. FT Leisure are pleased to be appointed by Eton College to supply the water treatment and filtration system for the 8 lane 25m x 17m main competition pool.

The scheme will see demolition of existing facilities including a gym as well as indoor and outdoor pools. These will be replaced with two new buildings hosting a range of facilities for sports including water polo, rifle shooting, climbing and Eton fives. The Eton Sports and Aquatics Centre (ESAC) will include the 25m pool with movable floor; a four-court multi sports hall; changing facilities; a spectator and post-match social area; parking; and an access track. Completion is due July 2021.
