Horwich Leisure Centre

F T Leisure has been appointed as sub-contractor to Willmott Dixon Construction for the delivery of the swimming pools at the new Horwich Leisure Centre development.  This new leisure and sports facility for Bolton Council has already commenced on site and completion is due in the final quarter of 2017. The architect is GT3 Architects and the structural engineer is Kier Construction.

The pools include a 25m, 6 lane pool and separate learner pool; both of the pools are Myrtha stainless steel modular pool tanks with GRP cylindrical balance tanks. The pools have independent filtration and water treatment systems, using medium rate sand filtration, disinfection, pH control and UV sterilisation.

F T Leisure is the UK distributor for Myrtha Pools.
