The Tameside Wellness flagship £15million new leisure centre, which has been built on land which housed the former Oldham Batteries site in Denton, was completed ahead of schedule in February 2020. The state-of-the-art centre includes an eight-lane 25m competition swimming pool with room for 150 spectators and a learner pool. It also features a spa area including sauna, steam and relaxation facilities, a fitness suite, and a ten-pin bowling alley.

FT Leisure were appointed to install and commission the competition and learner pool tanks in partnership with Myrtha. This is the 12th installation of the Myrtha tank technology over 5 separate project schemes. We also designed and installed the water treatment and filtration systems, moveable floor and steps, and the disabled platform access.
