Carnegie pool tank refurbishment awarded

FT Leisure have been awarded the contract to refurbish the 25metre swimming pool tank at Carnegie Leisure Centre. This pool was installed as an extension to the facility, which was originally built in 1905. The Carnegie Leisure Centre was a gift to the people of Dunfermline from Andrew Carnegie, the world famous multi-millionaire who was born and raised in the town.

In association with our partners and original installers, Myrtha Pools, we will be refurbishing all the wet surfaces of the pool tank with the Myrtha Evolution PVC membrane. The pool edge ceramics will also be replaced and some intervention works are planned with the Malmsten Aqualevel moveable floor system.
